My husband’s co worker from the Philippines sent him some Goldilocks polvoron now it makes me miss my country so much! I miss these delicacies that me and my kids love to buy when we were still there.  I love their cakes, I also love to eat their Filipino delicacies such as ‘Dinuguan, Spaghetti, Pakabok and Most especially Halo Halo. Hmmm I am drooling right now. I wish Golidolocks will be available soon in Arkansas or Texas where we can visit sometime. Golidocks has 22 stores in the US – in Los Angeles, California, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sacramento, and San Diego unfortunately there’s non here in Arkansas.

Yummy Polvoron!

Having family members working abroad can be tough on both parties. This is especially true among spouses. It is just so hard to be separated from the one you love physically. It seems that an emotional chasm is built, especially if you do not make the effort to get in touch regularly.

Thankfully, things have been much easier nowadays, thanks to technology. Now, we have web video conferencing that we make use of. Most of the time, it is free. For some, you may be charged a bit, but it is much better than just a phone call that can be very expensive and also limiting, because you only hear sounds. Therefore, with that, getting in touch now is a matter of decision and will. Everything is so easy.

My mom has been complaining of back pains every time we chat online. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but I told her to have an expert give her a check-up. It’s better to be safe than sorry, right? Besides, osteoporosis is something that’s common among women, and as much as possible, I want that possibility to be ruled out. That’s why I told her to see a doctor as soon as possible. Open back surgery is something we all want to avoid not only because of the expenses but also because of the complicated procedure. I hope that her back pains aren’t as severe as we think.

It was summer when everything was a disaster. I just can’t help it but get angry. Imagine, I cleaned up the backyard from the mess done by my kids but then I just find out that there are bulks of garbage thrown in our place. I don’t want to accuse anyone since I don’t have any evidences who threw those in our backyard. Well, good thing is that my niece told me about campaign signs cheap. It pretty worked. I have placed two signs in our backyard telling them that this is not the right place to throw their mess. Now, I am worried no more!

I was shopping in a store nearby our house when I suddenly stop because of something that caught my attention. It was a rack that organizes things that you are no longer using. Pallet racks are good organizers and this keeps all your things intact in one place. This helps you put all those extra materials and things that is hindrance to your eyesight.  If you do have heaps of things in your warehouse then this type of rack is definitely you need. It even worked here in our house. Now, I don’t have to worry if my kids would go to our warehouse as I know that they are safe to play whenever they want to.

While searching for a TV subscription the other day, I stumbled across http://www.direc4u.com/. I wanted have access to more channels than just the 6 channels that I can get with my standard rinky-dink bunny ears. My wife and I really don’t watch that much TV, but I wanted to have access to more sports and she loves the Kardashians. I was walking through the living room the other day and she had the Kardashians on. I sat down for a few minutes and tried to get into with her, but I just couldn’t bring myself to watch it. I have enough drama in my own life, why do I need to watch other people’s drama? I guess she has the same sort of feelings when I am watching a baseball game or fishing. I mean, who watches fishing on TV right? This guy, that’s who! But you know what they say, men are from Mars and women are from Venus, or something like that. I guess life would be pretty boring if we both liked all the same things.
