I discovered a new, easy and delicious recipe last Christmas. Our company’s christmas party was held at La Quinta Hotel. Everybody brought something, ofcourse I didn’t cook so I just bought disposable utensils while others brought different specialty of their own. Don’t ask me how they taste like coz it didn’t stick in my mind tastebuds. What caught my attention was the Sopapilla Cheesecake. One of my close friend/ co-worker made it so I asked the recipe right that moment!

My first Sopapilla Cheesecake

Here is the recipe my friend wrote for me:

Ingredients:

– 1 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese (softened)

– 1 and 3/4 cup of sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 (8 oz) cans of refrigirated original crescent rolls

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)

1/4 cup honey

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F then prepare 9×13  inch baking dish with cooking spray

2. Prepare the Cream Cheeese Mixture – Beat the cream chesse with 1 cup of sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth, set aside.

3. Prepare the Butter Mix – Stir 3/4 cup sugar, cinnamon and butter , set aside

4. Prepare the Cake – Unroll the cans of crescent dough, use a rolling pin or just press it into the bottom of your pan/baking dish,  spread the creamcheese mixture on top evenly then cover with the remaining crescent roll. Dot the butter mix on top of the cheesecake.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for  30 minutes or until the crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown. Remove from the oven after and drizzle with honey. Cool pan then cut into squares.

I hope you like it like I do. Serve it warm, ENJOY!

Tip:  Store left overs in the refrigerator. Heat in an oven for 8-10 seconds and serve!

Riding a horse is one of the best activities a family could have during family day. And so, it is really nice to get along with our family in an activity that both of you would have fun and enjoy the rest of the day together. Isn’t that great that you don’t just have fun but of course, you have learned a lot about the said activity too-  on why do we need to wear outfits like jodhpurs jodhpurs instead of ordinary pants and so much more?  Thus, it does not just bring fun and enjoyment to your family but as well, it teaches us a lesson too.

It’s Ber Month! I can feel Christmas coming. Well it’s good to plan early for Christmas shopping to avoid the rush. Creating a list of what to buy is the first thing to do. Gift giving is the first in my list next to food list. For this year I’m planning of giving ferds childrens clothing and toys for my nephews and nieces. They are located at the other side of the world and rarely see them now so I just did an research on what would be the latest trend for kids nowadays. Good thing I mostly have nieces so it’s easier for me to shop but the problem is that I am a little bit outdated with what’s new in the market. Thanks to online shopping aside from  I don’t have go through the long lines, I can able to see all the latest  and the best part of it, it will be delivered!

There are many special occasions in life that call for a present to really highlight the day or event. The present could be anything from a sentimental homemade gift, or a really expensive store bought item to an unforgettable experience, holiday or day out.

It seems that in any occasion, especially of you are buying for a female loved one, a beautiful bouquet of their favourite blooms can be just the ticket, or for the more demanding, a perfect place to start!

Interflora gifts for her can really help you out, they have stunning bouquets for any occasion. Some of the more prominent occasions that necessitate a gift of flowers are birthdays, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and even the celebration of achievements like a promotion at work or the day of a graduation ceremony.

Other special occasions come from the work or effort someone has done for you. This could be the day a really valued employee leaves a post or when someone has gone out of their way to make life just that little bit better for you. In these cases thank you gifts from Interflora can really come in handy. They have everything you need ready to order and really make someone’s day.

The birth of a baby really is a reason to celebrate, as is an engagement or the anniversary of something really special you share with someone. This doesn’t have to be a romantic anniversary; it could be a special day between two friends or two family members. In any of these cases the Interflora anniversary gifts can really help commemorate any special day.

However you spend your special occasion, make sure you really express whatever feelings that are brought about from the day, whether it is pride, of your wife giving birth, expression of love after years of marriage or excitement from and joy from a personal achievement.

Celebrating with family is indeed the best bonding we could have, thus planning a party in every occasion is the best thing we could do. Preparing foods is not that hard to handle though, because with just one call to catering equipment supplier then you can present all the foods the way you wanted it to be and of course, the program too. In every event, there’s always a program that flows. But what matter the most is that either it is celebrated in simple or in an elegant way either with music used korg triton le or not, you and your family is celebrating that very important occasion in your life together.

The kids enjoyed Easter Egg hunt adventure in our friend’s house last Easter Sunday. We had our simple celebration with Ihaw-ihaw  (grilled) foods, play time in their backyard, easter egg hunt and egg decorating.

Before we had lunch, the kids enjoyed the new trampoline our friend got in their backyard.  They loved it and even asking if can buy it too aside from the patio swing that they keep on asking us to buy. Unfortunately we can’t have this stuff until we got our own house in the future.

After playing we had feast on the Ihaw-ihaw foods…

Grilled Liempo, Grilled Fish and Chicken, fresh fruits and veggies :)

And finally, EGG HUNT and EGG Decorating time!!

HAPPY EASTER everyone!

So far, both ideas are perfect and sweet indeed.

Wine Gift Baskets has been the best tool for celebrating a romantic dinner or even a simple gathering for this symbolizes how important to each and everyone that event is. Since Valentines is nearly coming, and if you want your date will be perfect for both of you, then wines are the answer for your date. You can buy wine online now a day; especially if you don’t have enough time to go to store to buy because you’re busy planning for your dinner date. This method of buying wines gives you hassle free and of course 100% sure that will be delivered on your doorsteps.

To most couples, celebrating Valentines is the best day they could have, aside from having their anniversaries of course, as this makes them very special to each other in a while. I mean, Valentines Day is indeed precious day since it gives attention only to the ones who are in love.

Another marvelous and amazing cake made by our friend of A Lot of Sugar. I requested a Cars Lightning McQueen a month before my son’s birthday and she just said OKAY and viola, look at this perfect CARS she made!

My son loved it so much that he doesn’t even wanna slice it ….

He blew his candle again when we gets home…

Ate some of the icing….

And then ask me to keep it… he doesn’t want it to be sliced 🙁

And finally after 4 days….he let us eat it!

That’s how he love his cake. And who would not love it right? Even the JUMPZONE staff can’t stop their selves taking photo and sharing it to their friends. It’s really a beautiful one! And I am si proud to have a friend here whos very talented and artistic.

Sharing this to…

In my other blog, I posted about how I would have wanted to attend a costume party as a leather-clad biker girl. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen last year. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’d be able to attend one this year. If I get to attend one in November and I can’t wear my leather jacket, then perhaps I would just get myself a Joe Rocket Ballistic Jacket. I have no idea why I’m posting a fashion idea on my food blog, but to tell you the truth, this fun idea entered my mind as I was looking for new recipes to cook for my family. Now that’s what I call multitasking.
